Where to find any Aniimo: region, weather and time of day
Open the map, press Aniimo Distribution in the lower-left corner (or zoom all the way out): you get each region's collection progress and its weather. If an entry is greyed out, the area is not unlocked yet. And if the species still eludes you, it is almost always a question of weather or time of day, not region.

“Where do I find the night Bonesky?”, “where is Rainstorm Turbo?”, “I’ve been running around for an hour and I can’t see it”: this has been the most asked question since launch, in every language. It nearly always has the same answer — right area, wrong moment.
The rule that explains everything
The game states it itself, in its entry on Forms:
The same species of Aniimo may evolve into different Forms in different regions, weather, times of day, or other special environments in order to survive. There is also a rare Form that only appears in a Prismana environment.
So four variables decide what you run into: region, weather, time of day and the zone’s prismatic energy. A species you cannot find is almost always a species hunted with the wrong value on one of those four.
1. The in-game tool: Aniimo Distribution
This is the feature most players never find. The tutorial is explicit:
press Aniimo Distribution in the lower-left corner of the map, or zoom the map all the way out, to view each region’s Aniimo collection progress and weather conditions.
One screen gives you both what you still have to catch per region and the weather there. From a region, you then open the species you care about to see its spawn areas.
2. Time of day: switch to night without waiting
Many species only come out at night — Dr Lewis says so plainly in his quizzes: “many Aniimo only show up at night, you can surely try to switch to nighttime”.
To switch: function menu → Day and Night, then the button that advances the clock to night. No need to wait for the natural cycle.
Nighttime is a form in its own right in the index: it counts as a separate Aniilog entry.
3. Weather: three forms, and species that only exist in the rain
The client lists three weather forms:

Some species are tied outright to the weather. The people of Idyll know it: Trombers “are called Singers in the Rain because they usually only appear by the sea on rainy days”. Another character sums up the method: “they only appear on rainy days like this, you’d never find them on a clear day — follow the lightning, and you’ll find them”.
To force the weather instead of waiting for it, you need the region’s Branch at the Prismana Radiance stage (its sixth level) and Prismana Crystals. The full procedure is in prismatic energy, Nurturing and weather.
4. Our interactive map
The site publishes the markers read from the game files, spawn points included. Three useful shortcuts:
- By species: from an Aniimo page, the “all its spawns” link opens the map centred on its points.
- By region: open a region on the map and show only what is there.
- By category: chests, Aniipods, resources, Blooms, each behind its own filter.
The map also takes a time filter (day or night) to show only the relevant markers.
5. When the species simply cannot be found
Three cases where searching is pointless:
- The species is not open yet. Creatures exist in the client files without being available in game. We list them on the unreleased Aniimo page, without claiming anything about dates.
- It comes from an egg, not the open world. Several rare variants have no wild spawn point at all.
- It needs a Prismana environment. The Prismana form does not show up at random: it needs the Nurturing loop described in the prismatic energy guide.
The method, in short
- Open Aniimo Distribution on the map and locate the region.
- Check the weather shown for that region.
- If the species is nocturnal, switch to night from the function menu.
- If it needs weather you do not have, grow the Branch to Prismana Radiance.
- If the entry is greyed out, go explore the area: it will open on its own.

Do I need to catch the basic form before other forms appear?
Nothing in the game texts requires it. Forms depend on region, weather, time of day or a Prismana environment, not on what you have already caught.
