Beast Fang Ridge: what to do, its three Alphas and its 83 Aniipods
Beast Fang Ridge packs in three Alphas — a game record — and 83 Aniipods, a seventh of every Aniipod in Idyll. But it has only one fast-travel Bloom for 1,122 markers, so plan on walking, and run the loop in the right order.

One Bloom, three Alphas, and the biggest pile of Aniipods in the game: Beast Fang Ridge is a region you have to earn. 1,122 markers read from the files, and no shortcut to reach them.
One Bloom only: plan your loop
That is the first thing to know. The zone has a single fast-travel Bloom, the Beast Fang Ridge one, plus an underground Bloom and a swarm Bloom. For comparison, Zephyrus Landbridge has three for fewer markers.
The practical consequence: do not wander off collecting at random. Run one full loop out from the Bloom, and save the 83 Aniipods for a dedicated pass — they are scattered.
The three Alphas, a game record
No other region fields three. The game shows the method on each marker.
After the Minespine Alpha swings its tail hammer and slams the ground, it unleashes a Seismic Wave. Staying on higher ground lets you avoid this damage. Bringing an Aniimo that can alter terrain makes it easier to handle.
The wave travels along the ground, so anything that gets you off it cancels the hit. This is the only Alpha in the game whose official tip explicitly asks for an Aniimo that alters terrain.
The Alpha Scorchhowl leaves continuously burning flames in the areas it has attacked, and passing through them invites Fire Debuff. Using Water element skills can quickly put out the fire.
So bring Water in the team. Building your team covers how to fill in a missing element.
Alpha Glynsera has no tip on its marker, but the game shows two messages during the fight: “Fire skills can destroy Glynsera’s ice blades!” and “Glynsera is recalling its ice blades and releasing the frost power within them!” It is also the only one of the three whose wild form is nocturnal in this region.
The 83 Aniipods
596 Aniipods exist across the whole game. 83 are here — well clear of Blitzwood (66) and Russet Highlands (53).

The two Sanctums

The Aniimo here
Fifteen species have spawn points in the region, and one dominates: Emberpup, 169 points. Then come Bonesky (98), Iris (70), Chirpi (64) and Flutternym (64).
Scorchhowl has exactly one wild spawn point in the region, and it is gated behind a thunderstorm. So that is not the easy way to get one — see below.
The region’s Prismana
The Beast Fang Ridge Bloom attracts Scorchhowl in its Prismana form, and nothing else. That is the reliable route, far more so than hoping to catch its single wild spawn on a stormy day.
